I do get some errors that i haven't been able to link together in my searches.ġ) While attempting to unregister/re-register btmshellex.dll, i get the error "The module 'btmshellex.dll' failed to load.Ģ) Under the device's properties in Device Manager, i get the error "This device cannot start. Uninstalling anything that says Bluetooth under Installed Apps/Programs.I can't find bluetooth in the action center either, its as if Its lost completely. Installing brand new drivers from Asus website (laptop mfg) I don't have the bluetooth on/off button or the troubleshooter, and i also don't have any bluetooth drivers anymore.Unregistering btmshellex.dll (regsvr32 /u btmshellex.dll).DevMgr says driver is the most up-to-date. Disabling the Bluetooth device and re-enabling. Device Manager - uninstalling driver, restarting.So the computer is recognizing that it has an adapter, but that's about where it stops. ![]() The bluetooth adapter does indeed show up in DevMgr, albeit with a Caution sign attached. Using Windows 10 pro 64bit, the slider to turn Bluetooth on and off does not appear in the settings window.
